Summer Feminist Summit
Women have the right to associate!
We held Summer Feminist Summit of Rural Women for the first time in 2014 in Bezdan, where we gathered a dozen women with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences and strengthening women’s activism. In the following years, we continued to gather every July, and through three days of lectures and workshops, our participants begin to learn about or increase their own knowledge of women’s rights, the history of feminism, gender-based violence, the female body, new media strategies of resistance, and the development of feminist thought and practice.
We believe that women must have the right to public space in order to change our society for the better through joint action.
